I recently shared my super simple Banner Stands at Crafting in the Rain.
These are almost too simple to share, but nonetheless I present you with,
(Whoohoo, aren't you excited?)
*3 Wood Rosette (or Star) corner blocks.
(You can find these in the decorative door trim section in the hardware store.)
*(2) 5/16th inch wood dowels
*1 can white spray paint
I sanded my star blocks lightly and gave them a couple coats of paint.
The dowels got painted as well.
Actually what you SHOULD be impressed with--is how I spray painted these wood blocks in our horrible windy, rainy, hailstorm weather we've been having!
It was actually quite comical!
AH (Awesome Husband) drilled a 5/16th inch hole into the top of each block--
for the dowel to fit into to.
Then I got busy making some banners!
This small light-weighted banner only needs 2 banner stands to hold it up.
I love how I can move this anywhere I'd like.
No need for a mantle or having to tape my banner to the wall.
This SPRING Banner is a bit heavier and bulkier.
It definitely needs the 3rd banner stand to help hold it.
And there you have it...Banner Stands!
Have you check out my Springtime Holiday Link Party?
It's jammed packed with so many great ideas!
