LEGO Valentines

Valentine Link Party --click here!

Got a LEGO lover in your house?
Looking for some LEGO valentine ideas?
Check these out!

Purchase a small LEGO toy and choose a greeting.

We 'click' Valentine.

I like to 'connect' with you.

or how about...

We LE'GO' together!

Print out the greeting and have your child color in the tag.

(I like my kids to be a part of the gift making process.
Plus, they color-in better than I do.)

Tie tag onto LEGO gift.  Done!
(Don't tell my sister-in-law...these are for my nephews!)

For another LEGO inspired idea,
ask your child to make you a LEGO frame.

How fun is this?
My son crafted this in about 5 minutes.  He even built a stand for the frame to lean against.

Have you seen these adorable valentines with candy LEGO minifigures?

The figures are made using different colored Candy Melts and the LEGO minifigure mold.
Click here to see the step-by-step directions.
Click here for the LEGO minifigure mold.

These figures are super cute,
but I really doubt that mine would look this good.
Remember the 'meltdown' we had when making the salt dough LEGO figures?
Click here if you missed that post.  Well, maybe it's best that you don't!

I guess we could try making these chocolate ones...

Or, how about packaging up some of these...
candy LEGO bricks?

I guess if we really wanted to get complicated,
we could always make gummi LEGOS...

after making our own mold!
Incredible!

(For the record...I will not be trying this!)

And I leave you with a little YouTube LEGO heart building demo.
Maybe your LEGO lover will be inspired?!
